Calm yourself to heal yourself.

Myofascial massage promotes the normal functioning of your body's mobility, boosts its natural healing process and calms the anxious mind.

This is a slow style of bodywork rooted in calming the client's nervous system before addressing any physical ailment.  Slow, sustained pressure is applied with minimal shea butter to achieve the desired connection with your body tissue.  Heavier and longer strokes of pressure are gradually added, working up to the client’s threshold of what they can tolerate or what they feel comfortable and safe with.

Your comfort is key in facilitating the release of any fascial restrictions (trigger points/chronic pain) and will help to release and even assist in healing the muscle imbalances caused by trauma to the body and the mind.

The mind and body may be separate, but our fascia connects them as one.

Myofascial massage is a suitable treatment for:

  • Chronic pain
  • Neck and back pain
  • Sciatic pain
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Whiplash and other trauma
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Sports and repetitive work injuries
  • Scar tissue and other adhesions
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Stress-related muscular tension
  • Emotional stress and fatigue associated with physical trauma
